This year, PENfro Book Festival offers an exciting programme of events including five workshops, talks and our ever popular competitions. Book your workshop places online, today, while you can!

Sunday’s programme offers a variety of talks – listed below – plus the presentation of our winning radio dramas. All fantastic value at just £10! Throughout the Festival, our Literary Cafe will be open for coffee, lunch and pre-event dinners, all by our fabulous hosts at Rhosygilwen.

Teas and coffee available throughout the weekend. On Saturday lunchtime, between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm, there will be soup and cake available. Sunday lunchtime there will be a light lunch with quiches and salad in the Orangery cafe.

Visitors for Saturday evening’s Roy Noble event can book an evening meal with Rhosygilwen, call Gabby please on 01239 841 387, by Thursday if possible.

Saturday Writing Workshops

We offer a variety of writing workshops to help you test and hone your writing skills. This is an opportunity to dive in and experience the delight and creativity of the art. These workshops, run by experienced writers, are suitable if you are just setting out on the writing journey or if you are some way along the road and want to refine your skills.

The workshops are held in various on-site venues. The numbers are limited so please pre-book and register in Neuadd y derwen foyer on the day.

Sunday Pass

For just ten pounds you can come to our Sunday talks (See schedule below), listen to the winning radio drama entries and hear our guest on Music and Words. Talks are forty-five minutes long.
